His academic journey began at the College of the Immaculate Conception (C.I.C.), Enugu, and continued at the Federal Government College, Enugu. He pursued his passion for law at the University of Jos, where he obtained his LL.B (Hons) and BL degrees. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987.
Professional Experience and Appointments
During his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year, he served at Ebeku, Ebeku & Co., Port Harcourt/Ahoada, Rivers State (1987/1988), gaining valuable legal experience. In 1995, he was appointed as a Notary Public. He currently serves as the Secretary of the NBA Disciplinary Committee for Anambra State (2008 – Present). In 2007, he was nominated to the Body of Benchers by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). He has also served as the Past Chairman and Secretary of the NBA Nnewi Branch and is recognized as a Justice of Peace.
Political Appointments
His legal expertise earned him a political appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Anambra State on Legal Matters (2006–2007). He also served as Member 1 of the Advisory Council on Prerogative of Mercy, Anambra State (2006–2010).
